Andrea P. Miller, Ed.S.
is an educator, consultant, speaker, thought leader and advocate who helps people and organizations create supportive environments and systems that enable better outcomes.
A first-generation Jamaican-American, Andrea was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. After graduating from Duke University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Public Policy, and Marketing, she entered the workforce as a Corporate Account Marketer. Transitioning from her role after only a year, Andrea began her tenure as an educator and has since dedicated over 19 years to education, serving as both a secondary Mathematics and Social Studies teacher and an Instructional Coach across all subjects and grade levels. Since 2017, she has served as the STEM/STEAM Coordinator at South Atlanta High School, where she launched and continues to lead the school's STEM/STEAM initiative.
Her expertise spans educator recruitment and retention, career pipeline development, curriculum design, professional development, strategic planning, and partnership building. She also has a particular passion for serving the Jamaican Diaspora and addressing the unique challenges this community faces in accessing STEM education and career opportunities.

Andrea's influence extends throughout the Atlanta educational ecosystem, where she actively shapes K-12 STEM/STEAM initiatives and builds diverse, inclusive career pipelines for historically underrepresented students of color. Her notable engagements include moderating the K-12 Computer Science Panel at the 2025 State of Atlanta Black Tech Ecosystem Summit and participating on panels at the 2019, 2020, and 2024 Atlanta Black Tech Ecosystem Summits, as well as presenting at Fulton County's Girls in Computer Science Workshop at Google's Atlanta office.
Beyond her groundbreaking work in K-12 education, Andrea applies her expertise in systems-level strategy and talent cultivation through her boutique consulting firm, Twelve12 Group. She works with organizational leaders across sectors to identify and eliminate the barriers that prevent their people from performing at their highest level. Using systematic talent optimization, she guides leaders through capacity-based solutions that improve recruitment, support, and retention across the entire employee lifecycle.
With graduate degrees in Education Leadership from Columbia University and the University of West Georgia, Andrea brings a unique educator's perspective to organizational challenges. Her approach helps leaders move beyond traditional solutions to create the conditions for sustained individual and organizational performance.
